Natural ventilation

You would be surprised at how simple adjustments to a few structural features can improve a house’s general ventilation. Today, this is what designers are trying to constantly innovate. In the previous example, we mentioned that decreasing temperature can drastically improve a building’s overall temperature – and ultimately, save on electricity. This can also be achieved when you find ways to let the natural breeze into your home.

When heat is carried out of a home or a building, the surroundings become more comfortable. Today’s designers are mindful of how the available breeze would work with windows, simply by orienting them to bring in cool air. The strategic placement of plants to funnel wind through doors and windows is also another common design practice today.
