My name is Karen Moore and I'd like to welcome you to EcoHomeResource!
Honestly, it was not my original intention to develop a national resource for "green living" or environmentally-friendly homes. In fact, I found myself a tad bit overwhelmed by the vast number of "green" messages, products and new companies popping up seemingly every other day... and not knowing which ones to really believe and which ones were truly best for me and the planet.
I am very similar to many of you trying to make sense of what is out there and simply doing my best to make healthier choices for me, my family and this wonderful planet we live on. This site is intended to be a platform for inspiring and useful information on how to create a healthy home environment.
Therefore, we have a database of products and services of environmentally-friendly companies, plus interesting articles on every area of the house and advice from industry experts. Though much of the site deals with environmentally-friendly topics, it will also take a more holistic approach to healthy living. Therefore, you will find a dedicated section on the site called "Transformational Design" that will address topics such as Color, Sound, Feng Shui and Aromatherapy.
We want to help you create sustainable, healthy and enriching environments that nourish the body, mind and spirit...as they are all interconnected. What nourishes one part of our lives, brings nourishment to all. And when we affect change within ourselves, we change everything around us.
