Hello! I am sorry to report that I am NOT a fan of the Seventh Generation diapers for newborns! Now, I usually love products by Seventh Generation and I want to support the company buy using them, but if they don't fit my baby's butt, then there is no way that I will use them. First of all, they are kind of "crunchy"...they seem like a paper bag with some cotton inside. The design is no where near the sophistication of Pampers or Huggies. And I'm sure there are patents that prevent them from completely copying the design, but COME ON PEOPLE!...we really can't get better than this? And if my baby could talk, I'm sure he would tell me that they are not as comfortable either. A friend told me that the Seventh Generation diapers get better in the larger sizes, so I'm giving them one more chance!
Hey...I've said it before and I'll say it again...I am not a "green guru", but I'm just like you...trying to do my best in the grand scheme of things. Being a mommy is wonderful, and challenging at times, so I try to do what is good for the environment, my baby...and my sanity. So, if it doesn't work, if it is not simple, if it is too expensive...then chances are (like many of you)...I will not do it or use it! Just keeping it real!
well that's something new to me
