I don't know about any of you...but I am sick and tired of hearing about the economy!  I'm not about ignoring what is presently happening...but to put all of our energy on it only perpetuates that particular state of being (can I get an "amen!")  Anyway, I am about transcending the current state of affairs.

I am so thrilled to say that my husband and I have made a nice pitcher of lemonade out of this lemon of a housing market and we bought our first home here in Los Angeles!  Yippy!  We are so excited!!  A huge step for us, but take it with enthusiasm and anticipation of what the future holds.

It is also immediately providing the opportunity for me to apply much of what this website is all about.  When you rent, you don't concern yourself with the energy efficiency of the windows (I mean, what landlord is going to replace them because you've asked him to -- honestly!) 

I will continue to post progress, difficult decisions and frustrations we face entering this new venture of home ownership - Welcome to the Club!...as they say! :)
